The Repeat of the Three Angels Messages
There was to come a "repeat" phase of the Three Angels Messages sometime after 1915:
By Mrs. E. G. White:
The fourteenth chapter of Revelation is a chapter of the deepest interest. This scripture will soon be understood in all its bearings, and the messages given to John the revelator WILL BE REPEATED WITH DISTINCT UTTERANCE. (RH Oct. 13, 1904)." {7BC 978.10}
"The first, second, and third angels' MESSAGES ARE TO BE REPEATED. The call is to be given to the church: "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. . . . Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." {RH, October 31, 1899 par. 11}
"Many who went forth to meet the Bridegroom under the messages of the first and second angels, refused the third, the LAST TESTING MESSAGE to be given to the world, and a similar position will be taken when the last call is made." {RH, October 31, 1899 par. 12} "A similar work will be accomplished when that other angel, represented in Revelation 18, gives his message. The first, second, and third angels' MESSAGES WILL NEED TO BE REPEATED." 16 MR“
I was shown three steps,--the first, second, and third angels' messages. Said my accompanying angel, "Woe to him who shall move a block or stir a pin of these messages. THE TRUE UNDERSTANDING OF THESE MESSAGES IS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE. THE DESTINY OF SOULS HANGS UPON THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY ARE RECEIVED." I WAS AGAIN BROUGHT DOWN THROUGH THESE MESSAGES, and saw how dearly the people of God had purchased their experience. It had been obtained through much suffering and severe conflict. God had led them along step by step, until He had placed them upon a solid, immovable platform.” --Early Writings, pp. 258, 259. (1858.) {CW 53.1}
